Lima Bean

Lima's huge. I've been walking all day and all day yesterday too and only seen one barrio - ritzy Miraflores. It's like Mexico DF in that all these other cities and villages that surrounded the capital 50 years ago have been swallowed whole and partially digested, living on as semi-distinct districts with their own partial identities within the larger megatropolis. No way I'll see it all before my flight next Thursday... especially if I decide to escape to Huaraz in the Cordillera Blanca for a few days beforehand. Will keep ya posted.
